This project involved the analysis of several potential alternatives to relieve traffic congestion on this two-lane road. Extensive public input, through both public meetings and a Citizens Task Force, was used to develop evaluation criteria which included access and safety issues, traffic operations, cut-through traffic impacts, and private property impacts for alternatives. Two-, three-, and four-lane roadway widening options were evluated.
