MRO Engineers staff have experience in the following areas which provides us with background and understanding of the entire transportation system, as well as its discrete elements, and the processes and approvals involved in transportation designs. This understanding enables us to give you a more comprehensive, thorough design.

Land Development
MRO Engineers' offers complete civil engineering, traffic engineering, and surveying services for all aspects of land development from feasibility analysis and entitlements, through design development, preparation of construction drawings, and construction administration.

Bridge Design
MRO Engineers' staff have prepared full PS&E packages for hundreds of new bridges, bridge replacements, and rehabilitation projects. We have also performed the seismic analysis and retrofitting of many structures. Our staff has over 100 years combined experience designing a wide variety of bridge types.

Civil Design
MRO Engineers' staff have designed roadways, site development projects, drainage facilities and coordinated utility relocations. We have also designed sidewalks, curbs and gutters, bike paths, signing and striping, culverts, retaining walls, erosion control, traffic handling plans, as well as water, sewer, and storm drain lines.

Project Study Reports/Feasibility Studies
MRO Engineers' staff have prepared Project Study Reports, Feasibility Studies, and/or Alternative Analyses for a wide variety of transportation projects including new, widened, and rehabilitated roadways and bridges, new and modified interchanges, freeway widenings, railroad grade separations, pedestrian/bicycle pathways, and bicycle and pedestrian overcrossings.

Site Development
MRO Engineers' offers complete civil engineering, traffic engineering, and surveying services for all aspects of site development from feasibility analysis, through design development, preparation of construction drawings, and construction administration.

Traffic Engineering / Transportation Planning
MRO Engineers' staff have conducted circulation and traffic flow studies of proposed developments and transportation improvements. We have recommended mitigation measures including roadway widenings, median installations, traffic circles/roundabouts, channelization at intersections, and traffic signal modifications.

Construction Management
MRO Engineers' staff have provided construction management and inspection services for roadway projects (new construction, widening, and rehabilitation) and bridge projects (widenings, rehabilitation replacement, new structures, and seismic retrofits). We employ Resident Engineers, Structure Representatives, and Inspectors who average over 30 years of experience on public infrastructure projects.
