Provided design services to widen this busy street to improve safety for school children. The project, funded with “Safe Routes to School” funds, provides safe, non-vehicular access to Skycrest Elementary School and an adjacent park. Extensive coordination with local residents was required as right-of-way was taken from many parcels.
