Land Development Engineer
We have a need for Land Development Engineer in our top-flight professional organization. We are looking for someone who has a myriad of experience in private land and site development including development construction documents and processing the documents through the agencies to obtain the needed approvals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting the design and production of land/site development projects (including projects currently under contract) ensuring that high quality products are produced within the schedule that our clients require
- Assisting with the processing of project approvals through the various local agencies and special districts
- Ensuring that all administrative duties of the land development projects are attended to in a prompt and efficient manner. These include the development of contracts, sub- consultant agreements, invoices, etc. for signature by the owners of the firm
- Training and mentoring of more junior level engineers and drafters
- Supporting the marketing efforts of land/site development-related proposals, as requested by the firm principals
Job Requirements:
- 5 to 10+ years experience in development of private land development (residential) and site development (commercial) projects
- Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer in the State of California
- Occasional travel to conduct field visits and consult with clients.
- Ability to maintain good client relationships
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
